Snow Day!

February 11, 2018

I’m not gonna lie, I didn’t ever look forward to snow until I had a kid. Growing up in Chicago with dreary winters, icy roads, and 20 mile per hour freezing wind blowing into my face didn’t exactly foster a love for winter. But now I actually enjoy bundling up and seeing the joy it brings to my son’s face.

Building a snowman and having a snowball fight are always a must, but we also tried out snow markers for the first time. They’re such a fun addition to playing in the snow. Roman just preferred to squeeze it all out and watch the snow change colors, but I’m sure it’ll be more fun to use as he continues to get more creative. They come with bottles and powder color mixes, which makes them easy to travel with if you’re visiting a snowy destination. You don’t mix them with water until you’re ready to use them. I’ve linked the snow markers and Roman’s snow outfit below.
