Valentine’s Day Chocolate and Raspberry Truffles

February 14, 2018

This may be the exact opposite advice of any parenting handbook out there, but I’m all about bribery with my toddler when I’m in the small confines of an airplane. It’s the one time when he really owns me, because you simply cannot step away from everyone when he’s throwing a fit. But two can play that game because I know his weak spot: chocolate. And chocolate treats are even better when they’re made with natural ingredients.

I am by no means a chef, so I turned to one of my favorite food bloggers at Little Bits of Real Food for some chocolate treat inspiration. It was love at first sight with her chocolate dipped raspberry energy truffles. Not only would they make a great Valentine’s Day treat, but I plan to freeze a few for our next plane ride for some chocolate toddler bribery. If your little one is still insanely messy when eating chocolate on a plane, you can just drizzle a tiny bit on or just eat them at home. 🙂
