Valentine’s day gifts for little travelers

January 29, 2018

One of my favorite holidays also happens to be the most divisive: Valentine’s Day. For some, it feels too cheesy or stirs up too many bad romance memories. For me, it’s never been solely about romance; it’s about showing everyone in your life how much you love them, including your little ones. These are some of my favorite gifts that would be perfect for little globetrotters.

aden + anais blanket $49.95: we always pack a blanket for the plane and even our hotel. This “love” blanket is perfect even for after Valentine’s Day

board books – price varies (Llama Llama I Love You; Happy Valentine’s Day, Mouse!; Love from The Very Hungry Caterpillar): board books are an airplane staple. They don’t make noise, they’re almost indestructible and are so easy to pack in a carry-on.

hanna andersson pajamas $40: whether for an overnight plane ride or the hotel, packing pjs is a must.

stuffed animals – price varies (puppy; bunny): Jellycat stuffed animals are my absolute favorite. They’re insanely soft and adorable, and they come in so many animals and different sizes. The small ones will easily fit in a carry-on bag or suitcase.

swimsuits – price varies (girl’s rashguard; boy’s swim trunks): Spread some love with these playful heart swimsuits. Sadly, the boy trunk’s sizes are going fast!
